Western U.S. Exotic car transport Website & client portal

FLD Transport: live tracking for exotic car transport.

A web app and client portal case study. FLD Transport offers white-glove exotic car transport across the western U.S. We built their brand site and an owner portal that shows every client exactly where their car is, from pickup to delivery.

The challenge

When the cargo is priceless, "in transit" isn't enough.

Owners of exotic cars hand over something rare, valuable and personal. A tracking number and a phone call at delivery don't match that level of trust. Owners want to see where the car is, talk to the person driving it and know it's arriving in the same condition it left.

FLD needed a brand site that reflects a white-glove service, plus a private portal that gives each owner complete visibility during the trip. [placeholder: any extra context from FLD on how updates were handled before.]

What we built Launching

A brand site and an owner portal.

Two connected pieces: a brand site that sells the service, and a secure portal each owner logs into for their own shipment.

Brand website
A custom site that presents FLD's white-glove service across the western U.S.
Live GPS map with ETA
Owners see the truck's position, estimated arrival and trip progress in real time.
Driver-direct messaging and calling
Owners can reach the driver directly, no call center in between.
Cargo manifest and coverage details
What's on board and how it's covered, in one place.
Surround-photo timeline
Photos of the car at every checkpoint, so owners can see its condition through the whole trip.

FAQ

Common questions about portals & web apps

How much does a client portal like this cost?
Web apps and portals start at $4,850 and are custom quoted. We plan them in phases, usually with a first working version in 6–12 weeks, so you can start using it sooner.
Can you build the website and the portal together?
Yes. That's what we did for FLD Transport. One team handles the brand site, the portal and hosting, so they share one look and work together.

Need a portal your clients will actually use?

We design and build client portals, live tracking and dashboards for businesses in the Treasure Valley and across the U.S. Web apps start at $4,850, custom quoted.
