buildplatform started with one person and a simple idea: local businesses deserve a website that works as hard as they do. Thayne Rigby, our founder, grew up in Idaho and started building websites for businesses in 2000, back when most companies here didn't have one yet.
Along the way he helped found V Squared Creative Agency, where he learned what it takes to run creative projects for real clients on real deadlines. Then he built something most studios never do: a large network of independent marketing reps who brought in clients from all over. That network took our work well past the Treasure Valley, with sites built for businesses across the U.S. and in the UK.
That's how a Meridian studio ends up with thousands of sites behind it. It's also why we know what holds up over time and what doesn't. We've seen design trends come and go, platforms rise and fall, and plenty of sites built by someone who disappeared after launch. We decided early to be the opposite of that.
Today buildplatform designs, develops and hosts websites, client portals and custom dashboards. Most of our clients are right here in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Star and Kuna.
